Despite his first name, Casey Cantrell is actually a guy. He has more than a decade of experience as a journalist, marketing copywriter, writing tutor and instructor, resume writer, grant writer, and editor. He’s edited magazines (literary, regional, and otherwise), academic essays, grants, and the occasional script and novel, and he's written about anything and everything, from in-depth features on global warming, immigration, and education to a delightful profile on a porcupine named Penelope. (Yes, really.)

In a former life, he earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in English Literature, both of which provided incredible financial security and nearly infinite career prospects.

When he’s not writing or editing, Casey is likely trying to catch up on his backlog of books or rewatching Star Trek: TNG for the 15th time. He also thinks Oxford commas are great.

Casey is available for writing, editing, and proofreading assignments. Interested in his services? Contact him here.
